A Day for The Ladies
One of many events for the ladies of the circle took place on 30th August 2014. President Ian organised a trip ot for the ladies to the church of the Sacred Heart and St. Catherine of Alexandria, Droitwich, for 11.00 am Mass which was celebrated by Fr. Vincent Arulandhu SCJ.

a lovely light lunch in the tea rooms at Witley Court we visited our second church of the day; Great Witley’s 18th-century baroque parish church. They were treated to an introductory talk by a well-informed guide that made for a very enjoyable and interesting experience.
Afterward, we had time to walk around one of England’s great country 19th-century houses, now a spectacular ruin following a disastrous fire in 1937 and now in the care of English Heritage and the grounds where the display of the stunning Perseus and Andromeda stone fountain.

A great day was had by all and our grateful thanks to President Ian and Pauline for all their hard work in preparing the day.
